People see limousines from time to time, but often know very little of them. Many people know very little about them at all except as a vague concept that the wealthy use them to get around; here are three things you probably didn’t know about the limo industry:
1. They Make a Lot of Money
There is a conception that only the rich use limousines on any regular basis, but it is more true that those who own limousines are rich; the industry actually makes a great deal of money. Every year, the limousine industry makes up approximately 11 billion dollars of revenue. Limo rental services are not by any means a dry business.
2. It’s a Growing Industry
Stretch limo rental may generate a lot of money, but even so, the cost doesn’t serve as a barrier to prospective buyers. If anything, the prestige of limo services is attracting more customers; the limousine rental business has grown by 3.2 % between 2009 and 2014. Considering how much they make, those percentage points are seriously impressive for limousine service.
3. Most Limo Companies are Small
While stretch limo rental may be a huge, burgeoning industry with lots of growth, it actually isn’t dominated by big corporations. In fact, it is interesting to note that most limo companies are small, consisting of only five or so cars.
