Subarus are one of the United States’ most beloved imported cars. Their vehicle reviews and ratings are consistently high, and not just from the consumer. The Kelley Blue Book, one of the most prestigious publications about automobiles, awarded Subaru its 2015 Best Resale Value Brand Award for its stellar long-term value. That long-term value is due in large part to Subaru’s car safety features and excellent costumer service. A new Subaru will last you a long time, and a used Subaru will rake in a hefty selling price — at least, you know, according to Kelley Blue Book.

Subaru’s safety features are above-par when it comes to mid-sized economy cars. The 2015 Subaru Outback, for example, comes equipped with a rear view camera to help with backing out, rollover sensors that deploy side airbags if a rollover is imminent, and front-seat airbags that keep the passengers in place during a crash, which helps prevent injury even more effectively than traditional front airbags. The new Outback’s features are so impressive, in fact, that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration rated its front and side airbags test five starts and its rollover test four stars.

If superb vehicle reviews and ratings from drivers and government agencies don’t impress you, consider that Subarus are very much environmentally-friendly. Up to 97.3% of any given model’s materials can be recycled after the car’s “life” expires. Subarus are so friendly toward the environment, in fact, that its manufacturing plant in Indiana does not have a landfill! For a car factory — for any factory — that is incredible.

No matter how or why a Subaru driver gets a Subaru, the results are usually the same. Owners love their Subarus, not just because of their safety features, their accolades, and their eco-friendliness, but because, simply put, they make for an awesome ride!
